What we collect through enquiries
When you send us an enquiry through this website we collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your telephone number, if you give one;
- your postcode, if you give one;
- the message you write;
- the type of enquiry (for example a general question, a viewing, or selling your own home);
- the page you sent the enquiry from, and the holiday home or park it relates to.
If you have an account with us, signing in uses your email address to give you access to your own information.
What we use it for
- answering your enquiry and getting back to you;
- discussing our holiday homes, parks and services with you;
- spotting duplicate or fraudulent submissions;
- managing a possible purchase, including viewings and paperwork;
- keeping the business records we need to keep.
Our legal basis
We handle enquiries on the basis of our legitimate business interests in responding to people who contact us and running the business properly, and — where you are considering buying from us — in order to take the steps you have asked for before a possible purchase.
Marketing
Marketing messages require your separate consent. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. The tick box on our enquiry forms only confirms that you have read this notice and understand that we will use your details to reply to you.
How long we keep it
We normally keep enquiry information for 24 months after the last meaningful contact with you. We may keep it for longer where it is connected to a purchase, a complaint, a dispute, a legal or accounting obligation, or the establishment or defence of legal claims.
We do not have an automatic deletion system. Applying this retention period currently depends on a manual review by our team, and we carry that review out as part of managing our records.
Who processes information for us
- Lovable Cloud — hosts this website and stores the information above on our behalf. Lovable's Data Processing Agreement applies to our account automatically through its terms of service.
- Lovable's own suppliers — Lovable uses further suppliers to provide its service, including Supabase as a managed subprocessor, as set out in Lovable's published subprocessor list.
- Cloudflare — delivers this website to your browser through its worldwide network.
- Resend — may process an email address when we send you an account-access email that you have asked for.
We also use ordinary business email and telephone services to reply to you. We do not sell your details and we do not share them with third parties for their own marketing.
Some of the services we plan to use in future — a customer relationship system, WhatsApp messaging, online appointment booking and stock alert emails — are switched off. They receive no information from this website at present, and this notice will be updated before any of them is turned on.
Where information is processed
Our database is located in Europe (Ireland), and its backups are kept in the same region.
Because the website is delivered through Cloudflare's worldwide network, website traffic may be handled outside the UK or Ireland. Where personal information is transferred internationally, Lovable states that it relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the UK Addendum where that applies.
We are still confirming the processing locations used by our email provider. If you would like to know the current position, please email info@myleisurehome.co.uk.
Cookies and similar storage
We do not use advertising, analytics or social media tracking cookies on this website. The only storage we use is essential: keeping you signed in to your account if you have one, and remembering basic interface preferences so the site works as you expect. You can clear this storage in your browser at any time, though signing in again will be required.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep;
- ask us to restrict how we use it;
- object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests;
- ask us to transfer information you gave us to someone else, where that right applies.
